Hail Cesar...

GAME 1 - Citizens Bank BP
Forsch vs Sanford
Phillies 7, Astros 0

Jack Sanford left after 8 shutout innings.  The Phillies offense took care of business, scoring 7.  Lonnie Smith was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI.  Richie Ashburn was 2 for 5 with a run scored.

GAME 2 - CBBP
Oswalt vs Culp
Astros 2, Phillies 0

A Luis Gonzalez RBI double in the 4th and a Lance Berkman solo shot in the 9th were all the runs that Roy Oswalt (7 shutout innings) and Dave Smith (2 shutout innings in relief) would need.  Smith saved his 4th of the season.  Ray Culp, who fanned 9 in 8 innings and gave up just 1 lone run was surely the hardluck loser.

GAME 3 - Astrodome
Happ vs D.Wilson.
Astros 7, Phillies 5

It took 10 innings to settle this one thanks to Ryan Madson imploding in the closer role.  Philly led 5-3 after 8 1/2 innings of play, then handed the ball off to Madson who surrendered the tying runs in the bottom of the 9th.  To add insult to injury he gave up 2 in the 10th in the form of a Cesar Cedeno walk off homer.
