Dodgers take broom to Fish

Game 1: Don Sutton (LAD) vs Josh Johnson (FLA)

Florida scored in the 5th and the Dodgers tied it up in the 8th. The game went 11 with the Dodgers eking out a 2-1 victory in a game riddled by errors (4 total) and with only 9 total hits.

Game 2: Don Newcombe (LAD) vs Scott Olsen (FLA)

Newcombe pitched a complete game 4 hitter and the Dodgers won the game 3-2 as the Dodgers scored the winning run in the top of the 9th.

Game 3: Fernando Valenzuela (LAD) vs Chuck Smith (FLA)

The teams finally found some offense as the Dodgers jumped out to a 7-2 lead after 4.  Mike Piazza went 4 for 5 with 3 RBI's to lead the Dodgers to a 10-6 victory and a series sweep.
